Graziella,
Wow, this is the first response we have received.
However, the dates do not match.
My husband's grandfather, Guisseppe was born in 1882 so his father Giovanni would have been born long before 1893.
Could still be some connection in some way. It would be fun to explore more family history with you and see. We did find out that there are a lot of Colombo's in Bonefro.
