Patti, My family is from Palermo and my fathers name is Stefano and my grandfather's name was Gennarrow. GG name was also Gennarow and he married Agnus (her english name) They had Four children Anna, Rosalia, Giavonna, Gennarrow. Came to NY around 1905 or 1906. Rumors have it that GG had 7 or 8 brothers that migrated all of America. I was told years ago that we are distant cousins to Brenda Vaccaro the Actress. My grandfather was married to a women possibly with the name Rosealee or Rosalia. They had a son named Gennarow that work on the docks in Brooklyn that would make him my Dads half brother. Never heard anything about him. My grandfather then married Nancy and they had three children Stefano(my Dad) Agnus and Antonette. My Dad just passed away with so many stories left untold. In those days everything was a secret!!
