Since there is no "W" in the Czech language, we assume it should be spelled with a "V". Are there any Vachas or Wachas out there possibly related to Venzel Wacha (1831-1901) or his wife Mary (Marie) Shonka (1837-1905)? We don't know when they were married or where in Bohemia. They emigrated to the U.S. and eventually settled in Nebraska @80 miles northwest of Omaha. They had five children -- Blazej, Julius, Thomas, Anna and Marry. Venzel and Marie would be my husband's great-grandparents.
