I have an original postcard photograph of “Annie Vacha, Charlie holding Irene, and John Visely and Ella”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in 1917, and Irene looks about 6 months old. The four adults look to be from 20 to 30.
I found the family of John Charles and Anna Vacha (ages 31 & 26) in the 1920 census for Chicago, with daughter Irene, age 3 yrs., 1 month – on 6 Jan, 1920. SSDI shows Irene M. Vacha was born 2 Nov 1916 and died 10 May 2007, with last SS check to Cleveland, OH.
In the 1910 census for Richmond (McHenry Co.) IL is found a John W. Visily, born abt 1881 in NY, but his wife’s name is May. This may or may not be the same John Visily – but obviously, he was somehow related to the family of Charles and Annie Vacha.
