Dear Christine,
Thank you for your help. I have a copy of the rejected pension which was denied for lack of proof of service, which would have been paid to to children had he been eligible. I would be glad to scan it and send it to you. It also mentions the names of his children and says where they are living in 1855. I would very much like a copy of the death certificate naming his father as major Anderson Glenn which would help prove his name was major and not a rank. Would you be able to send it to me at marciacon1@mac.com? I also have the birthday news article for Asberry Estees at age 91 as well as his 1938 story of his life naming his grandmother Clem. Have you received a copy of the articles Lot Estes-Chaney Green Fam 1813 Burke Co NC in the Caldwell Co Gen Soc Journal Vol 25 Issue 3? There are two articles on Lot Estes, 1 on Asberry, 1 on Hiram, 1 on Charles and one on Estill Co Estes Fam listed in PERSI. Please contact me.
