I was wondering if you had any older pics of the tombstones. Pictures of some of the Vadens have been posted to www.findagrave.com and like you said they were in pretty bad shape.
The photos posted to findagrave were Elizabeth, Elizabeth Rusk, James Harding, Infant (child of W W & Harriet L Vaden), and Lee H. The only 1862 stone found was for an infant who died 1862. Based on your comments, I don't think this is Willis. Would appreciate your help.
