Hello to VADEN FAMILY MEMBERS.

I am in posession of Copy #363 of the "From The Chickahominy to the Caney Fork" Ancestors and Descendants of John Vaden. It belongs to my Mother: Darlene A. Nicke. HER Mother was Jewel Christine Vaden from her 1st Marriage to Teophil Jelinek. My Grandmother Jewel had a Second Husband named Roger Pfromm. My Grandmother is a descendant of VIRGIL GRANT VADEN & DIZY JOHNSON. She was born in Tennessee on September 3, 1911.

My Mother remembers Aunt Berkie Vaden & Uncle Wes Vaden. We also currently know of Grant & Florence Vaden still living here in Michigan not far from us. Grant & Gary Vaden were sons of WES VADEN (If I recall correctly).

My Grandmother Jewel Christine Vaden had 3 Children by Teophil Jelinek (one was my Mother) and 6 More Children by her Second Husband Roger Pfromm. We are all based in Mount Clemens, Michigan area or the Detroit, MI area. Jewel Christine's Father was Virgil Grant Vaden. He was a direct descendant of Joseph Vaden.

Anyway, I have this book temporarily and am so excited to read through it. I, too, would like to find a way to get more copies of this book. I was considering making contact with the PUBLISHER to see if we can have more copies printed up for a Fee for those of us in this VADEN Family Line that might be interested. This book was recently given to my Mother by my Cousin, Victor Pfromm after his Parents deceased. His Parents were Ralph & Linda Pfromm. Aunt Linda just passed about a month ago. It has a very nice picture of the VADEN Family COAT OF ARMS/CREST - or "SEAL OF PAUL de VAUDYN" which dates back to 1564. Victor Pfromm would like this COAT OF ARMS reproduced somehow so that he and other legal family members may display it proudly. There is a nice COLOR Picture of it on Page 10.

My Mother and Father had 13 Children. Now they have more Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren than I can keep count of. I know the last count was more than 50. So, just with this one tiny BRANCH of the Vaden Tree we have an interest in obtaining more copies. Perhaps even having some updates made about the various VADEN Family Branches to Date.

Can anyone tell me how I can go about contacting the Publisher for more copies to be made? Perhaps if more of us VADEN Family Lines pull together we can purchase another set of 500 or more of these books to be printed?

Please contact me if you know about this book I am holding and are interested in finding a legal means of having more copies produced by US, the Legal Family Members.

Sincerely,
Deborah Nicke
