According to Smith County Census John Vaden must have died between 1860 and 1870 because 1860 list J. Vaden 69, Martha 57, Paul C. 18, Robert 16. and 1870 F.M 23, Sarah 18 and Martha 70. and 1880 Martha Vaden 76, living in household Martha Nichols 43 dau. I dont have a lot info on James W. Vaden and wife Mary. Martha and John Vaden are buried in Smith County, Tenn. I would love to exchange info with you. I am a niece of Emmogene Bevelheimer who was one of the authors of "FROM THE CHICKAHOMINY TO THE CANEY FORK".
