Hello Ms. Williams,
I hate to dissapoint you but John G. Vader is still married to Nancy in the 1880 Census. Your John G. Vader in the 1880 Census is spelled Vadder not Vader. Your John was not married to Nancy. Peter and Catherine are my 5th generation grandparents and all of my Ancestors migrate from Pembroke, Genesee, Middlebury. John G. Vader who died in Michigan was visiting his sister Betsey when he died in 1883. John is also living with his Mom and Dad in the 1870 Census, I think yours is not. My ancestors married into the VanBuren family and most of the time he is with them up until his death. There are a lot of typo errors on the web it is good to be sure of your dates. We all get confused at times. I have the Middlebury tax assesment list with "Vaders" and family Birth and Death certificates. Your welcome to email me if you wish.
