George M Vader was my 3rd great grand uncle and my family had kept his obit and thought this may be of intrest to anyone related. I have more info on this family parents and siblings so feel free to contact me and we can share.

George Vader, pioneer stockman and farmer, died at his home northwest of Allerton Saturday morning, at the age of 90 years, following a short illness.
George M. (Maylin) Vader, pioneer farmer and stockman, died at his home northwest of Allerton Saturday morning, Jan. 20, 1951 aged 90 years, 4 months and 20 days. Mr. Vader was born in Henry county, Ill., Aug 30 1860, the son of George B. and Olive (Bronson) Vader. In 1881 he was united in marriage to Margaret Berry who preceded him in death in 1895, leaving two sons, Herman and Roy. In 1898 he was united in marriage to Jennie McBurney. To this union five children were born; Ruth, Ralph, George, Janet, and Wayne. Mrs. Vader preceded him in death in 1943.
Mr. Vader had always been a very industrious man. As a pioneer he helped to transform the wild praries of Iowa into the rich farm lands of today in which he had to use oxen to break the prairie. He first came to Iowa with his parents in 1868 to Greene county, Iowa, here his father purchased a farm, and from that time Mr. Vader made his home in Greene county until 1934 when he moved to Appanoose county and later moving to Wayne county.
In the spring of 1901 he was afiliated with Bethshan Masonic Lodge No. 580 of Churdan, Iowa, and this coming spring would have received his 50 year certificate as a Mason. His life has ever been an honorable and upright one, bringing him the trust and high regard of many friends.
He is survived by two daughters and five sons, Mrs. John Doyle of Grand Junction, and Janet at home, Herman of Anoka, Minn., Roy of Camaic, Ralph and George at home, and Wayne of Jefferson, also eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, Jan. 21 at Randolph funeral home in Allerton. Rev. D. M. Crawford officiated, assisted by Rev. T. B. ?arks of Allerton and Rev. Glen Hall of Plano. Music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Donald Duncan with Mrs. D. M. Crawford at the piano.
On Monday the body was taken to the Slininger funeral home at Cafferson where services
