I am trying to track down the name and other info concerning my great grandfather's parents and beyond.

His name was Polidore Vadnais - born 18 Aug 1879, Rouville, Canada (L'Ange Gardien)

I did find his name in the following border crossing info:

Border Crossings: From Canada to U.S., 1895-1956 > Vermont > Manifest > 1913 > July

And in the 1920 United states Federal Census (Springfield Ward 7, Hampden, Massachusetts):

Polidore Vadnais 40
Dorida Vadnais 38
Celoraus Vadnais 11 (this must be my grandmother Dolores)
Evette Vadnais 10
Gilberette Vadnais 8
Lorette Vadnais 7
