Let me begin with Marie-Louise Vadnais' parental grandparents. Antoine Vadenais (1727c-July 19,1808 St-Cuthbert, PQ) married to Marie-Francoise Laporte dite St-Georges (1729c-Mar 19, 1825 St-Cuthbert, PQ) this couple might have originated from St-Suplice/Ile-du-Pas area. Their son Pierre Vadenais (1760-May 23, 1834 St-Cuthbert, PQ) married on August 2, 1784 St-Cuthbert, PQ to Genevieve Durand (October 20, 1764 Ste-Genevieve-de-Berthier, PQ-February 6,1841 St-Cuthbert, PQ). Their daughter, Marie-Louise Vadnais (June 27, 1790 St-Cuthbert, PQ-March 6, 1873 St-Cuthert, PQ) married on July 25, 1814 St-Cuthbert, PQ to Louis Goulet (January 17, 1791 St-Cuthbert, PQ-February 5, 1860 St-Cuthbert, PQ). This couple had a son Jean-Baptiste Goulet (June 21, 1828 St-Cuthbert, PQ-September 20,1887 St-Cuthbert) who married on November 23, 1853 St-Cuthbert, PQ to Henriette Comartin(Caumartin) (February 23, 1832 St-Cuthbert-?). According to the registry of St-Cuthbert, PQ at the time of Jean-Baptiste Goulet's death his wife was listed as from Worcester, MA.
