Dear Al,
Regarding your message. I have not been able to locate your Charles Vadnais but I have been able to find Michel Vadnais (born July 14, 1804 and died March 9, 1856 St-Cuthbert, PQ.) who married on September 29, 1831 St-Cuthbert, PQ to Marie-Marguerite Robillard dite Lambert (born November 19, 1808 and died July 24, 1877 St-Cuthbert, PQ). Their son Thomas Vadnais (born December 18, 1842 St-Cuthbert, PQ-?)after this Thomas might have left St-Cuthbert as his marriage is not found in their registry.
I am aware that some residences from Berthier County went further west to Ponitac County.
