Your Vadnais line is in my area and I do connect in a remote way to these roots though not directly. If you contact the Minnesota Genealogical Society, they may be able to help on this FRENCH CANADIAN line. This line has been researched by more than a few that connect. There is a genealogy on the family as done by Warren Vadnais who has since left the Minnesota area to live in the south, perhaps Arizona, but I don't think it is a published work. Your best starting point would be the MN Gen Society. Hope this helps.
