Dear Howard - your post about the marriage of Vadnais/Mousseau matches a lot to what I found in the records at the JC-LDS Historical Library as follows:

Marguerite Mousseau, daughter of Jacques MOUSSEAU-DESILETS and Marie-Anne DAUNET (a/k/a - D’Aunay)b. 21 Feb 1700 (a/k/a - “Marie Anne” - a/k/a “Marte Anne”) @ Chambly, Boucherville, Que. m. 27 July 1723 Jean-Baptiste (dit Dargentevil) VADNAIS @ St. Sulpice, L’Assomption, Queb.

Seven Vadnais/Mousseau children on record:

Jean-Baptiste Vadnais: b. 26 June 1724 @ St. Sulpice, L’Assomption, Queb.

Nicolas Vadnais: b. 03 Mar 1726 @ St. Sulpice, L’Assomption, Queb.

Marie-Anne Vadnais: b. 03 Apr 1728 @ St. Sulpice, L’Assomption, Queb.

Antoine Vadnais: b. 11 Feb 1730 @ St. Sulpice, L’Assomption, Queb.

Joseph Vadnais:       b. 20 Sept 1732 @ St. Sulpice, L’Assomption, Queb.

Louis Vadnais:       b. 10 Feb. 1737 @ St. Sulpice, L’Assomption, Queb.

Francois Vadnais: b. 1739 @ Lanoraie, L’Assomption, Queb.

Hope this helps somebody. I research Mousseau. If you can help me, thanks in advance!
