Saw the LDS record for Frank Barczykowski. We are probably related. My grandfather's name was Franciszck Barczykowski and I lost track of him back in 1925.
I have a letter going back to March 31, 1974 from my father's uncle in Poland. Marion (in Poland) is writing and explaining the family to my father. It is below.
You asked in your letters about the Barczykowski family and today I am writing to you what I have found out being at the village of Anielewie.
Your father, Franciszck (Frank) had two brothers, Maximillian husband of Veronica and Lawrence Barczykowski who died also in America around 1930 in Cambridge - Orchister MA. supposedly he was very sick. Their sister is Eva Zalewska, if she's living or where she is I don't know.
The father of this family, that is your grandfather, was Walenty Barczykowski. His wife's name, that is your grandmother, I couldn't find out or where or when they died I don't know. By your uncle, Lawrence Barczykowski, were three children, Stanley Barczykowski, Walter Barczykowski and Julia Wozniak, who already died. Your grandfather, Walenty Barczykowski had a brother John Barczykowski. By John Barczykowski, there were two sons, Joseph Barczykowski and Steve Barczykowski, who supposedly live in America.
Couldn't find out anything more on the topic of the Barczykowski family.
Now remember this is a letter back in 1974 to my father in Massachusetts.
Please write me and tell me what you have on Barczykowski family.
