Thanks for the hint, this dit name thing, can be confusing, this is the first time I have attempted to even try getting into that.
If some of the Dugas' went to Illinios that could explain, in part, why Olivier Hurteau and his wife Adeline Dugas ended up there in
1857 - 1861 at least. I use all the little clues that come my way, I have even noticed that my Hurteau family has married Robidoux
family members and that migrated to Illinois,
and eventually Nebrasca. Thanks again.
