Hello Bill,
My great-grandmother was Catharine Telfer VAIR, eldest child of William VAIR and Jessie BELL.
Catharine (or Kate) married Neil WILKINSON, and their daughter Jessie Vair WILKINSON was born in Barrie. Jessie married Fred PATERSON, and their edest son was my father.
Although Fred Paterson moved his family to Leamington ON, they maintained a close relationship with the Wilkinsons in Barrie. We had a family cottage on Kempenfeldt Bay until 1993.
I have done a lot of research on VAIR, WILKINSON, and PATERSON, in both Canada and in Scotland.
