Well, I know that my branch of the family moved to southern California from Mexico in the 1930's or 1940's...possibly sooner. My grandfather's name was David Valadez and my grandmother was Lorenza Valadez, which might not seem to help you at all, but then again, I know the family branches out really far and there are so many generations I know nothing about. The bulk of my family lives in California, but I don't know many of them because I haven't been there in ten years (I'm a teenager, that's a long time for me). If you think of something that sounds familiar or you have any more questions, just ask and I'll find out what I can.
