My maiden name is Van Buren, my father was James Van Buren
and was married to Patricia Higgins. My grandfather is George M. Van Buren who was born in 1883 and died in 1957. He is buried in the Graniteville, SC cemetery, which is just outside of Aiken, SC. He was married to Vida Vivian Lane Van Buren who is buried in the same plot 1889-1941.
I also have relatives in Orangeburge, SC, and also Augusta, Ga. I remember a cousin named Bo in Orangeburg, and I not sure if it was him, but someone had an artificial eye, which he removed for show and tell. And I believe I knew an Edward Van Buren. My fathers brothers, were named, Russell, Bowdre, Henry (Buddy), Baxter, Arnold, Joe, and one sister named Hazel. Please let me know if this helps, as I am also doing research on my family.
Thankyou,
Vivian V. Kennedy
