Hi,

I have inherited our family (Van Buuren) coat of arms. Searching in the Rietstap there is a coat of arms for Van Buren which seems identical from the French description - divided in two, left side gold with rampant greyhound, right side red with the Buren region symbol of two embattled lines in gold.

Has anyone on the forum done much research on our coat of arms? There seems to be a number of Van Buren/Buuren crests.

Also has anyone got a picture of Pres. Martin Van Buren's personal coat of arms?
