I may have confused the matter a little, let me see if I can clarify what I have for you.
I have Henry born 3 Dec 1769, son of Henry Van de Water and Margaret Breasted. Henry and Margaret were married 1 Feb 1769.
I believe that it is "highly probable" that the Henry that you have marrying Elizabeth Denham "could be" the above mentioned Henry.
If that theory proves correct then this Henry could be the father of a daughter Margaret that married a Henry Bogardus.
I think this is highly probable, because everything I have seen connects this family to New York City, where the original Hendrick Van de Water had significant holdings.
Unfortunatley, this is with the exception of the facts stated in the opening lines, purely speculation.
This would put your couple in the Hendrick Van de Water line and not the Benjamin Van de Water line.
I have found fewer researchers in the Hendrick line than I have found in the Benjamin line, and there does not appear to be alot of them.
Wish I could be of more help!
