Vanluven Clarence & Calvin Windsor Ontario 1904-1920
Hello,
I am trying to track down relatives of Calvin Vanluven of Windsor or Clarence his son. My girlfriend and I are in the process of restoring our home and are looking for a needle in a haystack. The needle is a relative with pictures of our house.
The Vanluven's were the second owners of our house. It was owned by Calvin from 1904-1911 when he passed away. Calvin worked as a night watchman at Hiram Walker & Sons Distillery.
The home then passed to his son, Clarence E. Vanluven. He owned the house from 1912-1920 when it left the Vanluven family. Clarence worked for the Ford Motor Company (probably one of the first employees).
I have what I believe to be a picture of Calvin, and I have reason to believe that these Vanluvens were connected in some way to New York City.
Let me know if this rings a bell with anyone.
Thanks.
