Hi Greg:Karen alerted me to your message.I have a copy of Dr. Burleigh's VanLuven Tree filed with Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. It shows Isaac Vanluven of Northeast Town, Dutchers Co. as being the father of Cornelius and John Van Leuven. It appears Isaac had 9 brothers:Peter Van Lovan of Rennselserville(?) Town, Albany Co., Andrew, John, & Martin Van Leuven of Kingston, Ulster Co., and Elias, Johannis, Christopher, Peter and Daniel Van Leuven of Marbletown, Ulster Co. Cornelius m. Elizabeth Keefer and had Benjamin, John, Henry, Eddy, Leonard, Isaac & Hannah.John m. Mary Pulver and had Benjamin (my line), Anna, Cornelius, John Jr., Elizabeth, Frederick, David, Calvin, Carson, Pulver & Ransom (whew!)
There are several VanLuven families out there with the same first names.I cannot say if Dr. Burleigh's tree is correct as he did not leave any indication of sources in his file.So far I have only found the marriage registers for Benjamin VanLuven & Jane Galloway, John VanLooven & Fanny Adelia Draper, Frederick VanLuven & Lydia Draper (my Benjamin and two of his brothers), and Benjamin Van Leuven & Catharine Snyder (not related).
Karen and I would both be interested in what you have.
Lorraine
