Van Ness brothers Standing Stone Pa 1800
I'm looking for the ancestors of the Van Ness (Van Nest) brothers that settled in Standing Stone, PA; coming from Sussex County, NJ in the early 1800's. I'm new to genealogy and am picking up the family tree up from a deceased relative, so any help would be appreciated.
The tree seems to start with Isaac (1763-1839), but I'm not sure if this was a certainty (the original author states that " Isaac is believed to have been the father ofthe Van Ness brothers of Standing Stone,Pennsylvania.".
In addition, the original author or my tree mentions Isaac's father possibly as Peter Van Nest, but gives several possible Peters as a potential ancestor, so I think they are just guesses.
Here is the tree that I have (note, the last name seems to alternate between Van Ness and Van Nest, I think they are spelling variations of the same line)…

Isaac; (b. 2/20/1763; d. 12/24/1839) baptized 2/23/1763 at Walpack, Port Jervis, NY (mother’s name not given; witness was Isaac Van Nest).Isaac married Elizabeth Hankinson (b. 5/13/1769; d. 11/10/1836) in 1790.Isaac is believed to have been the father ofthe Van Ness brothers of Standing Stone,Pennsylvania.Isaac and Elizabeth had at least five children, who migrated from Sussex County, NJ to Standing Stone, PA soon after the turn of the 19th century.They are as follows:
1. George (b. 8/11/1791; d. ?).Married Hannah Emery first (daughter of Rev. Jacob and Elizabeth Ross Emery of Sussex County, NJ), then Asenath (Schoonover) Huyck.Asenath (b. 1800; d. ?)
2. John (b. 1794; d. 1/12/1853).Married Sally Dunn (b. 1793; d. 9/3/1849).John came to Standing Stone about the same time as his brother, George. Sally and John had the following children:

c. Erastus; married Emma Hull.
d. Wesley; married Celestia Tuttle.
e. John Jason; first married Emily Horton
f. Myron; married Harriet Finch.

3. Daniel (b. 6/11/1795; d. 10/11/1849).Married Martha Huff (b. 6/11/1795).After coming to Standing Stone, like his brothers, Daniel engaged in farming. Daniel and Martha had five children:
a. John; married Julia Morris.
b. Maria; married Asher Roals.
c. Jehiel; married Lucy Clayson.
d. DeWitt; married Julia Kilmer.
e. Charles; married ?Charles fought and died in service during theCivil War.
4. Isaac Whitfield (b. 11/25/1800; d. ?).Married Osee Shay.They had the following children:
a. Sophronus; married Julia Jennings (b. 5/30/1832),
b. David;
c. Frank; married Cynthia Robinson and lived in Standing Stone.
