I have not found a baptismal record for Ary and Lena's children: Jan, Judik, Lidea or Margarita. It was Lidea(not Judik as stated earlier), for which Lena paid the "Dood Kleed" fee, so that is how we know she is Ary and Lena's.Jan and Margarita both have daughters named Lena, and sponsored baptisms for Elizabeth, who is known to be Ary's daughter...again suggesting they are children of Ary and Lena. And Judith sponsored a baptism for Ary's daughter Elizabeth...again sugeesting her to be Ary's daughter, noting that Ary's mother was Judik. When you take all of the records and consider them together, the line becomes apparent. As to the missing baptisms...again I suggest early New Paltz.I don't have those records. I might note that Ary was among those who built the Wawarsing Church, and his family have several records there.I am guessing that the "Sarah" who had an illegitimate child in 1766 at Wawarsing, sponsored by Jan and Geertje, must have been a sister of Jan's.I don't think Jan was old enough to have a daughter old enough to have a baby in 1766...but until I can verify Jan's birth, I can't be sure. The child was named Geertje, suggesting Sarah may have been Jan's daughter.Jan and Sarah together sponsored a baptism in 1763.Judick is also recorded with Ary's family in the early records of the Wawarsing church.
Some pieces are still missing, but I keep getting a little closer all the time.
