James Vaughn married Lavina Bookout. For James birth I have found 1817 Tenn., 1825 Ala., and 1830 Missouri. The family did live in and around Christian County, Mo. Having trouble confirming where he was born. An 1880 census for John Bookout Vaughn said his paretns are from Tenn. John Bookout is my husband's 4th gr. g-pa. I have a picture of him if anyone is interested. Thanx in advance!!
