Vaughans of Houston County, Texas......1850

On page 171 of the 1850 Houston Co, TX census a William Vaughan, born 1828 AL, and a Melkijah Vaughan, born 1835 MS, are living in the household of Sam E Burton. On page 190 of the same census a Thomas L Vaughan, born 1838 in Houston Co, TX, is living in the household of John Wortham.

The William Vaughan is probably the William M Vaughan who was discharged from the Texas Cavalry during the civil war due to age. On his discharge paper he claims to have been born in Blount Co, AL in 1828

My assumption is that these three are brothers. I know that many of William H Vaughan's children of Monroe and Lafayette Co, MS migrated to the Houston Co and Anderson Co of Texas before and after 1850 but I can't seem to work these three in with that family.

All help appreciated.
