I am hoping someone can help me with this one. I keep guessing and hitting brick walls. I am trying to find out whom the parents are of James Vaughn b.1791 Georgia, married Elizabeth Troxel on 10-01-1812 Wayne Co. Ky. and resided their until his death after 1870. He appears with his family in the 1850, 1860 & 1870 Census of Wayne County. He is buried at Kids Crossing Cemetery in Slavens Kentucky. Their is information out their that he might be brothers with a John Vaughn b.1784 North Carolina died 1850 Wayne County Kentucky. This could be true since they both married Wayne County women within a year of each other and their children have similar names. Any help with this mystery would be greatly appreciated. My father is in the process of doing DNA so maybe I will find out some hints that way.
