Robert3 Vaughan (Nicholas2, William1) (Source: Gibson Jefferson McConnaughey, Will Book I, Amelia County, Virginia Wills 1735-1761; Bonds 1735-1754, (Mid-South Publishing Company, Amelia, Virginia; 1978).) was born Abt. 1705 in Prince George County, Virginia, and died September 25, 1779 in Amelia County, Virginia. He married Martha ?. She died Aft. 1779.

I think that Robert was the son of Nicholas becasue he is adjacent Nicholas Children in Amelia County. It would appear they all inheritted and divided his estate on Flatt Creek
