Just in case anyone is interested, the February 8, 2012 issue of Country Life magazine has a very nice article on Tretower Court and Castle. It has recently been restored and the article shows before and after photos of the exterior as well as interior. The history of the castle is given with highlights of some of the notables associated with it. Roger Vaughn (died 1471 by beheading), his wife, Margaret, and his son, Thomas Vaughan, are mentioned. The photos alone make it worth hunting up the issue.
