Greetings!

It helps if you post all known information about a person in the first inquiry.

I do not have any record for LtCmdr George J VAUGHN 1898-1964 being buried in Arlington National Cemetery. His name does not appear on the website for interment.net either.

If you have detailed information on his exact location or burial confirmation, I would be happy to post this and correct an error. As a war veteran, he deserves this honor.

We have begun a project to list every VAUGHAN (and some VAUGHNs) that are buried in National Cemeteries across the US. We believe we have completed that list (up to the most very recent burials) and are now in the process of photographing the gates of all those cemeteries and all of the graves and/or markers. We are still in the process of identifying burial sites in military cemeteries around the world and have many of those including lesser known places like Malta, Israel and Gallipoli. (Yes, there are American military VAUGHAN's buried in Israel.)

Good luck in your search for your George.

Ralph
