I live here in Boone County, KY and I am on the committee for a dedication service for the cemetery where ABRAHAM VAUGHAN b.1772 VA, his wife and 1 son Larkin are buried. The cemetery is nicely fenced now and is on Abraham’s old property. You are certainly welcome to attend the event. The tentative date is June 27th………not yet confirmed though. To view the booklet draft for the dedication, please go to this website : www.geocities.com/eastonhistory/booklet_Abraham_Vaughan_Cemetery_dedication.pdf The only know burials there are: --Abraham Vaughan born 1772 VA died Sept. 25, 1851 KY aged 79 years --Mary ‘Polly’ Weaver Vaughan wife of Abraham born Apr. 10, 1779 VA died Oct. 8, 1856 KY aged 77 years --Larkin Vaughan son of Abraham and Mary ‘Polly’ born Aug. 25, 1818 KY died Sept. 17, 1862 KY aged 44 years Larkin Vaughan was killed during a Civil War skirmish Florence, Ky. Sept. 17, 1862 He was watching the skirmish from a nearby barn when a stray shot killed him. For more information or to compare Vaughan family history, please contact me. Thanks !
