I am looking for information on Joe H. Vaughn, husband of Elizabeth Ann "Lucy" Bramlett (daughter of Martha Sansum Cole and Hugh Alvin Bramlett). Both Joe and Lucy were born in the 1850's in Mississippi, were married in 1882, and moved to Texas in around 1893. They are shown in a 1900 Census as living on a farm in Dallas Co, Texas with the following children: Carrie/Cara May, Lina, John Allen, Loni J, Thurman Joseph, Olaf, and Bessie.
On the only census record I can find, Joe Vaughn lists his father's birth in Alabama and his mother's birth in Georgia.
Does anyone know the names of his parents or anything about this Vaughn family? Thanks.
