After 15 Months Illness,
Mrs. Hicks Frydendall Is
Called to Her Rest.
This is th sad record in the household of our Ex-Alderman Mr. Hichs Frydendall.
For over 15 months Mrs. Frydedall has suffered, been bed-ridden most of the time, being afflicted with cancer.
On Saturday morning, at 6:15, Oct. 7, '99, she passed.
Kittie A. Venton was born in the Town of Ohio, Herkimer County, New York, May 31st, 1849.
She was married to Andrew M. Hutchinson, in Gloversville, N.Y., June 29, 1871, where they resided until his death, in 1880.
On Sept. 10th, 1881, she became the wife of Mrs. Hicks Frydendall, coming to Batavia and locating on a farm, the following Feb. In 1893 they moved to Batavia, their present home, corner First and Jackson St.s
Deceased leaves a husband, one own daughter, Miss Nellie, at home, one steep-daughter, Mrs. Ellen Cowen, one step-son, Emery K., of Big Rock, one brother, John Venton, of Batavia, and one sister in New York, to mourn her departure. One step-daughter died in 1886.
Funeral services were conduced at her late home. Burial was in West Side Cemetery.
