You are welcome. Best of luck. The chances of my coming up with more are slight. I sometimes use the daily search feature of GenForum to look for the phrase "please help". I outlined why in the first paragraph of

Towards the end of the same page there are some arguments against putting an e-mail address in the body of a post.
On another note, could the sister nick-named "Suckie" have been "Sukey"? "Sukey", pronounced "sooh-kee" was a popular nickname in the early years. There was a popular song about "Sukey let your hair down" in the 1960's or 1970's. I believe it was based on a folk song that was much older.
I went to the the LDS 1880 data base and tried it as a g iven name alone. I got hundreds of hits for women named "Susan". I tried it with the "Exact spelling" box checked and got hundreds of women named "Sukey". The wizards behind the LDS 1880 know more about 19th-century nicknames than I will ever know. If you look for "Bill" they will show you "William" as well. My little experiment tells me that yes, it was a popular nickname, and that is was a deravitive of "Susan".
On the other hand, her nickname mught have been "Suckie"for whatever reason, or her legal name may have been "Sukey" the way some men's legal name is "Bill".
