Good morning Lynn, I am also a great-great grandchild of Robert(b. 1824). The only documents I have at this time are "Viall Genealogy 1618-1941", a copy of "John Viall of Swansey Mass. and some of his Descendents" and some lineage I received yesterday that is from John's first marriage(Mary). We come from his second marriage with Elizabeth Smith, dau. of Richard Smith. I recently contacted The Winthrop Society about the passenger list for the Arbella and I was told the list is not complete and because John is not on it(the list) does not mean he wasn't on that boat, the list is not complete and TWS is still working on it. The list does not have names of the slaves and indentured servants on it. With the documents I have, I was told I am eligable to join so I sent my application.
Feel free to e-mail your P.O. no. and I will send you copies of the first two documents I have, the third I will send you if you like as soon as I find a copier that prints on both sides. What documentation do you have? I would most certainly make a trade. John may have been born somewhere other than Middlesex, his family may have moved there prior to him hopping on the boat.
