Thanks for getting back so quickly. It seems like the Cole girls were not a very hardy bunch.I saw the 1900 census you refered to and the Hix family that is living with Margaret Cole are the widower and children of her daughter Mary Ann, who had died before the 1900 census.Did you note that Margaret indicated that of the 9 children she bore, only 4 were living in 1900.Katie's father, William J. Cole died 31 Aug 1881 and is buried in the Highpoint Cemetery in Cooke County, TX, age 47.It is an interesting headstone with a Masonic symbol on it.

Someone had suggested on Ancestry.com that William Victory had married daughter Nancy E. so I'm glad to know that it was Katie instead. Also, I didn't have any luck locating Maggie or Margaret Cole Loyal on the 1920 or 1930 census - did they remain in Oklahoma?
