I ended up with another family's photos due to a divorce/remarriage that happened many years ago- I had no idea how to contact these people. I posted messages like yours and got no response for 2 years- then a man saw one message; recognized it was his grandfather I was referring to and I sent the pictures in time for him to give them to his mother for Mother's Day last year. She only had 1 picture of her father & I sent them probably 50, he also got a bonus- photos of himself in Vietnam were also there. Very Happy ending- so don't give up and I suggest you post the same message on this site on the GARCIA forum; and also the forum for whatever county Galveston is in. Someone in his family may be working on genealogy and come across it that way.
