I was wondering if medals could be requested on a person who earned them?
I have a cousin who died in Vietnam and he had 3 children. One of the children has his medals and Flag, but what if the other 2 wanted them also?
From checking on another member, my sister was told that the Purple Heart could only be recieved once more. (We have 6 kids), so I imagine only one of the kids could get anothe Purple Heart.
This would not be arequest for replacement of medals, as the originals are not lost, but if the other 2 wanted a set of the ones he earned, what do they need for proof of his medals earned and is it possible? The one with the medals, I'm sure would be willing to share the military records by sending them copys.
