In my previous post I stated that I was trying to find anyone that might have served with my uncle Roy Fewell in Vietnam, and the biggest problem that I faced was trying to find out what unit he was in.
Well, I have finally done it.
I now know that during Feb. of 1967 he was in Alpha Co., 1st Battalion, 1st Regiment, 1st Marine Division, in the Hoi An Quang Nam Province, and took part in Operation Lafayette.
If there is anyone on this site that served there, or in his unit, please contact me.
