Hi Bruce,
D Company, 1st of the 4th did make the initial contact with the Mayaguez. They were followed by the larger unit. However, to my knowledge, there is no name roster of the men in either unit. Their individual DD-214's will (or should) reflect their "Mayaguez Operation" participation. Mayaguez participants are authorized the VSM, and as you know, all VSM (2,709.918) personnel are listed here: http://www.amervets.com/library.htm
