There are some excellent books on the Vietnam war. My father-in-law was Special Forces Combat Comm. and did 12 tours in Nam Laos and Thailand. Many of these books have personal photos with names dates and places. I was able to get one with a photo of my wife's father with his unit. If you have access to a military museum, you might be able to access some of these.
