My wife's ancestors are Samuel and Eunice, then John Milton (Bro of James Q.), John Samuel and her father was Arlyn Violet. The first Violet we have found is William who is mentioned in a will as being an overseer on a plantation on Kent Island about 1680. Some have said that he married Anne Pike and they were the parents of old Edward. I have looked long and hard for Elinor's (Sanders/Saunders) father but have only found what others have found i.e. her mothers name was also Elinor. I do have most if not all of old Edward's and Elinor's children, some land records and some evidence that he worked for George Mason as well as George Washington.
