Pat,
As part of the Missouri Digital Heritage Initiative, the Missouri State Archives has created a database of digitized Missouri Certificates of Death from 1910 to 1958 (http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/). The database has a searchable index that links to a digitized image of the original death certificate. You can search by last name, first name, county (114, plus St. Louis City), and death year.
The Missouri death certificate database contains one from the St. Louis City for Abner King Graham:

Vinton was on a Missouri Pacific Railroad line 12 miles southeast of Winfield, the seat of Cowley County, Kansas. In 1910, its population was 20.
One transcription of the 1880 census shows “A.H. Graham” as head of this household in Dayton, Newton County, Missouri:
GRAHAM A. H. Head Married Male White 25 AR Laborer TN TN
GRAHAM Anna Wife Married Female White 25 WI Keeping House PA OH
GRAHAM Freddie Son Single Male White 5 MO AR WI
GRAHAM Lewis Son Single Male White 1 MO AR WI
Note the Arkansas birthplace listed for A.H. Graham/A.K. Graham.I think that’s correct. In 1870, Abner K. Graham (15, b. AR) was living in the household of farmer Solomon Buckhardt (34, b. IN) in Lost Creek Township, Newton County, Missouri. Also in the household was Sarah C. Buckhardt (40, b. TN).Close by was a household headed by farmer William Golden (24, b. TN).Another farmer, William Golden (70, b. VA), was a resident in the younger William Golden’s household.A household headed by George W. Buckhardt (57, b. IN) was also close by.
In 1870, Anna G. Virgin (15, b. WI) was living in the household of farmer William H. Virgin (53, b. PA) in Neosho Township, Newton County, Missouri.Listed immediately below William H. Virgin in the household was Mary Virgin (45, b. OH).In 1860, William H. Virgin (45, b. PA) was head of a household in the town of Ridgeway, Iowa County, Wisconsin. His household included Anna G. Virgin (5, b. WI).In 1850, blacksmith William H. Virgin (33, b. PA) was head of a household in Ridgeway, Iowa County, Wisconsin, which included Mary Virgin (27, b. OH) and four Wisconsin-born children (William, Mary, Josephine, and George).
Hope this provides you with some clues.
Regards,
Clete
