I know of an Alphonse Albert Vollmer and Rose Reck Vollmer who lived in the Chicago/Evanston area about that time.Have these photos been claimed or identified by another researcher?
We've just recently found that the Vollmer family listed above moved to California by about 1900+- [still working on that date via the census], originating in Wisconsin, with stops in Michigan, Illinois, and Missouri, based on references to their children's birthplaces (8 in all).
I'm happy to have more info on this Vollmer family to pass to other Reck family researchers.This research line is posted on RootsWeb's WorldConnect.
