Searching for any and all Tubman family members from the Johnsbury area. The census reports show some. I am trying to link my Tubman family. A letter dated in 1881 by William Tubman states his father (John) has 4 brothers and 1 sister in Vermont. No names.
Thomas born October 24, 1861 Fermanagh, Ireland
William born about 1858 Drumhervin, Kinawley parish, Fermanagh Co., Ireland
They have 2 sisters, one being Kate and the other I don't recall. Kate is in 25-wd Chicago census 19190 & 1920.
Father is John TUBMAN mother is Isabella EMO. Who marry July 23, 1857 in Parish Church of Kinawley, Co. Fermanagh, Ireland
Willaim appartantly arrives US first, followed by parent who settle Alma, Nebraska, then Thomas arrives with wife Jane Blair.
