My wifes' ancestors were Rufus and Lydia (Badger) Clifford who were early day residents of Danville and raised a large family there. One of their daughters was Myra Diana Clifford was my wifes' ancestor born at Danville 1837 and still at home in the 1850 Census aged 12. I don't know how she met her husband William Peters(he was a widower living in Wisconsin before he married Diana); but they married and lived all over the western states. I'm not even sure when Diana died. I am in hopes of finding photos etc. of her parents who died and are buried at Danville. Her mother lived until the 1890s. I have their dates of death; but not in front of me at the moment. Hopefully there are still some of this family in the Danville area. This couple had a large family. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Carl Martin Notify Administrator about this message?
