born 17 Jun 1867 in Hardwick VT. Her mother died soon after her birth. She was apparently adopted by James and Sarah Nelson in 1870 in Caledonia County. Her father and surviving siblings moved to Iowa in about 1868. Lillie stayed with the Nelson in VT where she was enumerated in the 1880 census. We have no record of her after that. Does anyone know if she married and had children?
