Am looking for Lyons information on those names I have that were from Poultney, VT. If anyone with last name Lyons is related to the following list please let me know:
Daniel William Lyons, b. 12/6/1878 d. 9/21/1956
Mary Lyons, b. 10/12/1872 d. 4/21/1957
Julia Lyons, b. 11/20/1882 d. 12/24/1960
(Elizabeth?) Lyons McDonough. Who is her husband? Was it John or Frank?
Daniel's parents are John and Mary (Margaret O'Rourke) Lyons. John was born on 3/17/1839 and died on 10/12/1917. I am assuming he was born in Co. Limerick, Ireland. Margaret O'Rourke was born on 3/26/1842 - died on 1/2/1901. Assuming she was born in Co. Cook, Ireland.
Daniel's sisters are as follows:
Mary Lyons, b. 10/12/1872 d. 4/21/1957
Julia Lyons, b. 11/30/1882 d. 12/24/1960
Elizabeth Lyons (McDonough?), b. 4/12/1876 d. 7/30/1966
The other names I have shown as my grandmother wrote are:
Dennis Lyons, b. 3/19/1867 d. 11/1922
John Lyons, b. 6/6/1874 d. 6/18/1937
Philip Lyons, b. 10/3/1880 d. 11/8/195? (it was cut off)
Margaret Lyons, b. 1869 d. 1952.
These I believe are Daniel's other brothers and sisters because in the memorial book it listed only Mary, Julia and Elizabeth. Reason for this I believe was these people above passed away before Daniel died so these names were never mentioned in the book. Those three ladies were alive at the time of Daniel's death therefore, their names was listed as sisters.
Do you know of anyone with Lyons currently living in Poultney or Rutland, VT that are related to them above? If so, please, please let me know!! Thanks!!
